What Changes When You Run on WHIZTEC

One shared platform, tuned to how each operation actually runs — here is what changes on the ground, from freight to fleet to terminal.

Freight Forwarding
Hours → Minutes
Quote to order

Replace six disconnected tools with one platform. Quotes that took hours go out in minutes, and a single shipment record carries every job from inquiry to invoice — no re-keying, no reconciliation between systems.

6 systems → 1 one shipment record quotes in minutes
See the solution
NVOCC
Idle → Utilised
Container turns

Put sailings, agents and equipment on one screen. Containers turn faster, and the demurrage and detention that used to leak at destination is captured and invoiced through the responsible agent.

Liner Agency
A Day → Minutes
Booking cycle

Eliminate manual re-keying across systems. Bookings that took a team most of a working day close in minutes, with no double entry — and principals get same-day reporting instead of waiting for the week to close.

no double entry one booking record same-day principal statements

Shipyard
Absorbed → Billed
Every variation

Run every vessel's estimates, job cards and owner billing on one thread. Extra work found mid-repair is approved and billed instead of absorbed — and margin per vessel shows daily, not at month-end.

live margin per vessel all trades, one model daily project P&L

Ship Management
Reactive → Planned
Maintenance & compliance

Run PMS, procurement, crewing and ISM/class compliance on one platform. Running-hours maintenance drives spares and purchasing automatically, and survey and certificate alerts mean nothing lapses — vessels stay inspection-ready instead of scrambling before port state control.

running-hours PMS multi-owner, segregated always audit-ready

Container Terminal
Gate → Invoice
One terminal system

Gate in/out, EOR estimates, M&R and storage billing on one system. Damage is estimated and approved on the spot, moves clear the yard faster, and every free-day and storage charge is captured instead of leaking.

WHIZAI · The Intelligence Layer

Intelligence built on 25 years of moving ships and cargo.

Not generic automation bolted on top — a decision layer trained on how maritime and logistics businesses actually run. It turns your operational data into the next best move: protecting margin, cutting risk, and compressing decisions from days to seconds.

Protect margin

The CFO lens
  • Bunker & voyage optimisationSpeed, route and fuel procurement optimised together — lower fuel spend per voyage.
  • Demurrage & detention predictionExposure flagged before it accrues — stop margin leaking at destination.
  • Charter & rate intelligenceTime vs voyage vs spot, recommended on live market signals.

Reduce risk

The CEO / COO lens
  • Predictive maintenanceSensor and running-hours data flag wear before breakdown — fewer off-hire days.
  • Shipment exception handlingAt-risk shipments surfaced and worked before they breach an SLA.
  • Compliance & survey readinessClass and certificate alerts — no detentions, no last-minute scramble.

Decide faster

The COO lens
  • Document AIBills of lading, customs entries and invoices read and drafted — zero re-keying.
  • Predictive ETALive ETAs from vessel position and history — plan proactively, not reactively.
  • Demand forecasting & analyticsPatterns in your own data turned into planning you can act on.

    Common questions about WHIZTEC

    What is WHIZTEC?
WHIZTEC is an enterprise software company that builds AI-augmented operating systems for global supply chains. Our four platforms — WHIZCargo, WHIZMarine, WHIZERP and WHIZAI — cover freight forwarding, maritime, shipyard, ship agency, NVOCC, warehouse, trading, manufacturing, e-commerce logistics and AI orchestration. Founded in Dubai in 2000 and deployed across 23 countries.
What do you mean by an “AI Operating System for Global Supply Chains”?
It means WHIZTEC is not a bundle of separate tools but a single platform that runs your logistics, maritime and supply-chain operations on one shared data model — with an AI layer that predicts, recommends and, under human supervision, acts across all of them. Just as a computer’s operating system is the foundation every app runs on, WHIZTEC is the layer your whole operation runs on — so intelligence works across the entire chain rather than inside one silo. Read the full explanation ›
    Which products does WHIZTEC offer?
WHIZTEC has four products: WHIZCargo (25 modules for freight forwarding, NVOCC, liner agency, ground handling and more), WHIZMarine (20 modules for ship management, shipyard, marine survey, ship agency), WHIZERP (21 modules for trading & distribution, manufacturing, e-commerce logistics) and WHIZAI (intelligence layer running order processing, procurement, inventory, invoice and forecasting workflows).
    Which industries does WHIZTEC serve?
WHIZTEC covers 12 verticals across global supply chains: Maritime Operations, Ship Management, Shipping & Liner Agency, Freight Forwarding, Aviation Cargo, Warehousing & 3PL, Cold Chain Logistics, Customs Brokerage, eCommerce Logistics, Couriers & Last-Mile, Trading & Distribution and Manufacturing.
We only run one operation — say freight forwarding. Can we implement just that part?
Yes — that’s exactly how many of our customers started: one operation, expanding only as they grew. A freight forwarder later adds liner agency, NVOCC and feeder operations; a trading company goes from one warehouse to multi-country distribution and its own logistics; a ship owner grows from one vessel to a fleet, ship management and a repair yard — all on the same platform. Because it’s one AI platform on a shared data model, growth means enabling modules, not replacing systems; your existing data and history extend into each new workflow. WHIZTEC has been built this way since 2000, alongside our customers. Read how WHIZTEC grows with you ›
We run SAP or Oracle at group level. Can we use WHIZTEC in one company and still integrate with group finance?
Yes — this is one of the most common enterprise setups, and we’ve delivered it for several groups. Keep your corporate ERP (SAP, Oracle Financials or similar) as the group financial system of record, and run WHIZTEC as the operational platform in one or more of your operating companies — freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing and the like. WHIZTEC runs those operations end to end and feeds group finance the postings it needs — invoices, costs, GL and intercompany entries — through standard connectors. Group finance keeps one consolidated view; the operating company gets software built for how it actually works. You don’t replace the group ERP — WHIZTEC sits alongside it as the operational layer. See how the integration works ›
    Where is WHIZTEC based?
WHIZTEC was founded in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2000 — Dubai remains our global headquarters. We operate multiple engineering & development centers in India — driving product engineering, AI research and platform delivery — and onsite implementation & support centers across multiple geographical locations to handle local rollouts, training and ongoing operations for enterprise customers. The platform is in production across 23 countries today.
How does WHIZAI work with the rest of the platform?
WHIZAI is an intelligence layer that runs across WHIZCargo, WHIZMarine and WHIZERP. It processes over one million operational events daily — automating order processing, procurement, inventory optimisation, invoice handling, shipment exception management and demand forecasting. No separate integration is required; it reads from the same data model.
This looks relevant — how do I get started?
The simplest first step is a short demo built around your operation, not a generic tour. Tell us what you run — your industry, rough scale and the systems you use today — and a Solutions Architect will walk you through the modules that matter to you. From there a typical engagement is: scope your priorities, agree a phased first go-live, then expand. Book a demo
